About the Scholars Club

The ACEYE Scholars Club (ASC) is a transformative leadership program designed for young and aspiring leaders between the ages of 18-35 in selected Tertiary Education. Currently the participating institutions are the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), University of Ghana – Legon (UG), University of Media, Arts, and Communication – Institute of Journalism (UNIMAC-IJ), University of Mines and Technology – Tarkwa (UMaT), University of Professional Studies – Accra (UPSA).

This initiative, supported by the Atlas Network and its partners, aims to empower participants to tackle development challenges, engage in impactful projects, and contribute to shaping the future of Ghana.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Young and aspiring leaders in selected tertiary schools in Ghana.
  • Demonstrated leadership and initiative in fields, schools, or communities.
  • Individuals eager to make an impact and contribute to national development.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Age between 18-35 years at the time of application.
  • Availability for the full program duration.

 

Application Process: 

  • Interested applicants must submit an online application form by the specified deadline at the time of opening.
  • Submit a copy of your resume/CV (not exceeding 2 pages).
  • Complete the online application form with accurate and relevant information.
  • Ensure availability for the full program duration.

 

Selection Process:

  • Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee on a rolling basis.
  • Acceptance into the ACEYE Scholars Club is merit-based and competitive.
  • Applicants will be scored based on professional achievement, leadership potential, interest in socio-economic issues, and commitment to contributing to national and global issues.
  • Selection criteria include professional growth, demonstrated leadership, interest in socio-economic issues, and commitment to impact.
